摘　　要：国内外对雪莱《含羞草》的评论不是很多,一般认为《含羞草》的隐喻比较朦胧,迄今为止其隐喻意义仍不明确。本文通过文本细读发现《含羞草》涉及了生与死的主题,其隐喻是多方面和多维度的。《含羞草》不仅隐喻了雪莱自己,而且隐喻了人类,更是灵魂对肉身的消解。Few comments exist on Shelley＇s＂The Sensitive Plant＂.The metaphor of this poem is rather obscure and not fully discussed even up to now.By means of close reading,this paper discloses that the theme of the poern is life and death and that the sensitive plant is a metaphor of Shelley himself,or of human beings in general.It is a metaphor of spirit dispelling the body.
