摘　　要：多维语篇分析是批评语言学发展的最新趋势。随着英语新闻在全球范围内的强势传播,对英语新闻进行多维语篇分析不仅是语言学习本身的需要,更是英语新闻阅读能力‘由表及里且深'的训练模式的需要。英语新闻阅读既要提高学习者的英语语言能力,更要培养学习者的独立思考能力和健全人格。Multidimensional discourse analysis is the latest trend of critical discourse analysis. With the overwhelmingly spreading of English news in the world, it＇s crucial to do multidimensional discourse analysis in English news. It＇s a must to learn English, to cultivate the ability of English news reading following the training model of ＇from outward appearance to inner essence and deep down＇. English news reading should aim to improve learners＇ English language skills and foster their critical thinking skills and healthy personality.
