博学的专才:美国情报科学博士培养模式的启示

摘　　要：基于美国罗格斯大学情报学博士培养模式,探讨我国情报学博士教育的人才培养目标及途径。指出培养情报学研究领域具有广博的知识及扎实的研究基础和能力的博士,即博学的研究专才的重要性。为此,提供系统的研究方法课程及培训,培养实证研究的兴趣和能力,大量阅读国内外相关研究文献,培养批判性思考能力及参与研究实践是必要途径。This paper addresses Doctoral education in Information Science in China, based on the experience from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in USA. The authors point out that it is important to educate students with broad knowledge in information Sci- ence. For the purpose, it is necessary to systematically offer research method courses, make students interested in and be capable of conducting empirical studies, require students reading as many as possible research papers, improve their capability of critical thinking, and encourage them to participate in research groups and improve their research skills.
