摘　　要：21世纪的高等艺术设计教育应该突破其一直以来对于西方艺术设计教育的学习和模仿,探索属于中国特色的高等艺术设计教育,实现高等艺术设计教育的"本土化"。要达到此目标必须一方面在高等艺术设计教育中加强传统文化的教育,另一方面要加强民间美术教育,由此使中国的艺术设计真正成为"中国设计"。The 21 st century higher education in art design should go beyond the borrowing and imitating of Western model which has long been dominant＇ in China, explore its own model with Chinese characteristics and achieve the ＂localization＂ of higher education in art design. In order to reach this goal, efforts must be made to strengthen the education of traditional culture on one hand and folk fine arts on the other hand. In so doing, China＇s art design can really become ＂Chinese design＂.
