摘 要:战国楚简中有不少祭祷四方神的记录,东、西、南、北四方神灵都受到楚人的祭祷,其内容可与甲骨卜辞对照,也可与传世文献的相关记载相印证。四方神与五天帝、五人帝、五官神相互对应而构成系统是一个逐渐形成的过程。简帛材料显示出战国时期楚人的四方神观念已与中原诸国无异,四方神虽已基本归于地祇,但还保留有天神的痕迹。Many records of the sacrifice for the four direction Gods have been found in the newly discovered Chu area bamboo scripts of the Warring State period. All the Gods of the West, East, North and South were worshiped by the Chu people. These records can also be testified by some inscriptions on the oracle bones and tortoise shells, as well as the transmitted documents. The constructing of the theological system of four direction Gods, five heavenly Gods, five humanly Gods and five functional Gods is a gradually evolving process. These bamboo scripts show that there was no difference on the ideas of the four direction Gods between Chu people and those of the Central China States, the four direction god were basically categorized as the land Gods, but still kept certain features of the heavenly Gods.
