摘　　要：林纾与杜亚泉这两个在清末民初具有巨大影响的人物,表面上互不相干,实际上却有着非常密切的关系。杜亚泉在自己编辑的刊物上支持林纾的翻译,开启了林译小说报刊登载的先河,林纾也以自己的翻译给予杜亚泉编辑的刊物以大力支持。同时两人都因保守的态度及中西文化调和的立场受到了五四新青年派的批判,有着相似的遭遇与结局。Linshu and Du Yaquan were important people in the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of China Republic,it seems no relation between them on the surface,but in fact they had close relation.Du yaquan sustained Linshu＇s translation in his publication,and open the door of the magazine for linshu＇s translation novel,at the same time Linshu supported Du Yaquan＇s magazines with his translation.They were criticized by the May-fourth new people because they were conservative and conciliationist in East and West culture,so they had similar end.
