摘　　要：培养学生自主学习能力是英语课程改革关注的一个焦点,也是实施素质教育中一个深层次的问题。本文首先论述了培养高职学生英语自学能力的意义,接着从教师的角度探究了如何多途径地培养学生的英语自学能力。To cultivate students＇ autonomous English learning ability is a focus of curriculum reform,but also a deep problem in the implementation of quality education.The article first illustrates the significance of students＇ autonomous English learning ability in higher vocational colleges,and it puts forward some proposals on how to train the students＇ abilities from teachers＇ aspect.
