摘　　要：谢尔.希尔弗斯坦是蜚声世界的现代美国诗人,他的作品如《缺失的一角》《爱心树》,充满天马行空的想象,总能以平实的文字、曼妙的构图营造一片清爽有趣的文学天地,打破了沉闷平庸的诗坛格局,为世界增添荒唐精彩。他的诗作,始于快乐,终于智慧。其绘本,既饱含儿童式的天真与梦幻,又蕴涵着丰富的人生哲理。20世纪的儿童文学,因为谢尔.希尔弗斯坦的存在,增添了许多雅趣、光华与传奇。Shel Silverstein is a world-known poet in America.His writings such as ＂The Missing PIECE＂,＂The Giving Tree＂,are full of active imagination,embraces plain language and fantastic picture,creates a piece of fresh and funny stature,and makes the world absurd and colorful.His practice begins with pleasure,ends in wisdom.In his picture books,there was much childish naivety and vision and abundant idea in life.Due to Shel Silverstein,Children＇s literature in the twentieth century inreases much fun brilliance and legend.
