摘　　要：在当前知识经济的大环境下,国际间科学技术与文化交流要比历史上任何一个时期都更为活跃频繁,从而对外语人才的培养也提出了更高的要求。立足当前理工类院校外语教学的现状,分析了理工科院校外语专业的主要特点与劣势,深入理解外语人才的复合模式理念,提出了理工类院校复合型高级英语人才的培养的路径选择。In this knowledge-based economy era,the international exchanges of technology and culture are more frequent than any period in the history,hence higher requirements are expected for foreign language talent training.Based on the status quo of foreign language teaching in colleges of science and engineering,this article analyses its main features and weaknesses of foreign language teaching,explains the composite concepts of foreign language talents in depth,and proposes the ways of cultivating composite innovative talents of foreign language.
