现代性视域下的科玄论战——对论战原因及其本质的当代探讨

摘　　要：从现代性视角分析科玄论战原因,即从现代性的世界普遍性与中国特殊性亦即从中国现代性的"生不逢时"尴尬境地出发,不仅可以避免把论战原因直接归结为两派知识分子学术争论的浅层次观点,更有助于透过现象直接深入事件的内在本质原因探讨,使得对科玄论战原因的认识由感性认识进入到理性认识。同时由于中国现代性历程的特殊性,使得科玄论战在本质上不仅仅是信仰的重建,更是关于中国前途、命运之争。Studied from the modern perspective,i.e.the world＇s universality and China＇s uniqueness of modernity,or the dilemma of China＇s modernity,the underlying causes of the debate on science and metaphysics are identified.This helps to reject a superficial viewpoint which attributes the causes to academic arguments between the two groups of Chinese intellectuals.Instead,the new insight into the reasons is highly essential and rational.At the same time,due to the complexity of China＇s modernity,the debate is,in essence,not only belief reconstruction,but also an argument of China＇s future and destiny.
