摘　　要：5S是一种经营理念,它是指企业生产经营中的整理、整顿、清扫、清洁、素养。开展5S活动的目的是为了减少工作中隐藏的浪费。企业在生产经营过程中,实施5S能够改善经营管理,提高产品质量。文章详细阐述了开展5S活动的程序、方法以及成效,并指出中国企业要打造世界一流产品,进入世界知名企业行列,必须认真开展5S活动。5S is the name of a workplace organization methodology that uses a list of five Japanese words which are seiri, seiton,seiso,seiketsu and shitsuke.The aim to promote 5S activities is to reduce the hidden waste in our work.During the production and operation,if the enterprise can carry out 5S,the operation management and products quality can be improved. The paper elaborates the procedures of 5S,its methods and results,and points that if China＇s enterprises want to build first-class products in the world and jump into the list of global well-known enterprises,they have to promote 5S seriously.
