毓贤抚鲁、晋两省期间的“涉教”态度比较

摘　　要：义和团运动期间,毓贤曾先后任山东、山西巡抚。履职两地之时他的"涉教"态度,尽管是在同一趋向基础上的阶段性发展中所呈现,但其仇教反教表现的相对隐与显、柔与刚、温和与暴烈、理智与迷狂,还是反差颇大,彰明较著。究其原因,既为具体背景条件和朝廷导向因素在两阶段中的不同所促使,更是其人在特定环境条件下,仇教心理自潜隐、抑制到凸显、膨胀的剧变并外化于行为所直接导致。Yu Xian was grand coordinator of Shanxi province during the Boxer Movement.His attitude to Christianity was quite different between his ＂Shandong＂ and ＂Shanxi＂,though it changed by stages.What made his attitude to Christianity changed？ One reason was the guidance of Qing government,the other Yu Xian＇s ＂hatred-religion＂ mentality.The second reason was more important,Yu Xian＇s ＂hatred-religion＂ mentality changed more obviously and tempestuously when he came to Shanxi province.That is to say,under that specific environment,the changed mentality made his attitude to Christianity changed directly.
