摘　　要：本研究从文化学和教育学的视角出发,通过对甘肃省藏族地区中学英语课程进行调查研究和质性访谈,发现存在着三语环境下的课程不被重视、教材在藏区水土不服、教学管理体制僵化、教学模式过于传统以及教师专业发展等问题。就其成因,主要是存在四类文化冲突:传统文化与现代文化的冲突、主流文化与藏族文化的冲突、西方文化与藏族文化的冲突、西方文化与中国文化的冲突。本研究提出相应的解决对策,正视文化冲突,进行文化整合,以加强藏族地区的英语教育,提高英语教育质量。The investigation and qualitative interview are used in this study.Under the circumstance of trilingual education,several cultural conflicts exist in Tibetan areas during the new curricula implementing of middle school English.Those conflicts include inadequate attention on curricula,unbefitting of the textbooks in local district,stiff administration,outdated teaching model and willingness but inability of teachers＇ professional development etc.To trace the causes,four major cultural conflicts of English curricula in Tibetan areas are typically discovered： between traditional culture and modern culture;between mainstream culture and Tibetan culture;between western culture and Tibetan culture,between western culture and Chinese culture.This research puts forward solutions accordingly.We should face squarely at all conflicts in order to reach integration,improve the quality of English education in Tibetan areas.
