从英语缩略词的特点审视汉语字母词的有效性

摘　　要：简便经济是英语缩略词的一大特征，但英语缩略词也有不能暗示词义、一词多义、相似性大的特点．这些特点都影响着英语缩略词交际的有效性。从语言学经济原则和语言有效性两方面分析当前汉语中借用英语缩略词这一语言现象。Simple and economic is a major feature of English acronym, but the English acronym also has the characteristics of having no implied meaning, having many meanings in a word, and having many similarities, all these have affected the communication effectiveness of the English acronym. This paper attempts to analyze the borrowing of acronym in Chinese from the aspects of linguistic economic principles and language effectiveness.
