谈终身教育背景下社区居民文化素养的提升

摘　　要：党的十六大提出把终身教育作为全面建设小康社会的重要目标之一,为贯彻和实现这一战略任务,全国上下加紧推进学习型社区建设,这为社区居民文化素养的提升提供了重要契机。由于社区居民文化素养受社区文化、居民学历与社会层次、文化心态、文化需求等因素影响,因此,应加快建立和完善社区教育机制,积极推进社区文化建设,打造优良社区文化,唤醒社区居民的文化情感与理性,激发社区居民的参与积极性,以促进社区居民文化素养的提升。The 16th National People＇s Congress put forward that we should regard the lifelong education as one of the prominent target of our overall construction of a well-off society.In order to implement and fulfill this strategic task,the whole country has to step up to propel the construction of the study-oriented community,which offers a golden opportunity to promote the residents＇ cultural accomplishments.However,since cultural accomplishments are influenced by such factors as community culture,residents＇ educational background and social status,cultural attitude as well as demand etc.,we should speed up to build and perfect the community educational institution,propel the community cultural construction actively,create the fine community culture,invoke the residents＇ cultural sensation,and arouse their enthusiasm to culture so as to enhance their cultural attainments.
