摘 要:棉子脂肪酸既是重要的食用油,又是重要的工业原料。但是关于棉子遗传改良的研究报道甚少。研究表明,PEPcase和ACCase的相对活性决定种子的蛋白质与油脂的含量,应用RNAi技术抑制PEPcase催化活性,可以提高脂肪酸总量。本文概述了棉花油分与RNAi技术的研究现状,并阐述了应用RNAi技术改良棉花高油分育种的技术路线。Cottonseed was one of the important products of cotton production.Cottonseed oil plays a valuable role not only in human diet,but also in industrial material.However,there are few researches on the genetic improvement on cottonseed oil,so that the nutritional composition of seed,such as fatty acid content,has been ignored for many years.Recent progress has been achieved on the biochemistry and biotechnology,such as RNA interference,to create genetically modified plants with improved and/or regulated nutritional composition.On the other hand,cottonseed oil,which could be used as a putative material to produce biological diesel oil,has been ignored too.Here a summary on genetic improvement of cottonseed oil and application of RNA interference was presented,a new strategy had been proposed to create new genetic modified cotton stocks or varieties with high content of fatty acid and low content of protein by interfering with PEP.
