【Objective】 To assess the co-expression of COX-2 and CCR7 in human breast cancer and analyze their relationship and correlation with clinicopathologic parameters.【Methods】 COX-2 and CCR7 expressions in the tissue samples of primary tumors from 80 breast cancer patients and normal breast tissue samples from 15 breast cancer patients were examined by immunohistochemica assay. Then, their relationships and correlation with clinicopathologic parameters were analyzed.【Results】 COX-2 and CCR7 were over expression in breast cancer tissues, the positive rate of COX-2 and CCR7 in the primary tumor was 42.5% and 38.8%,respectively.A significant correlation was found between the expression scores of COX-2 and CCR7(P 0.05),and both also were correlated with lymph node metastasis, histology, primary tumor size and TNM stage(P 0.05),but both were not related to histology type and patients' age(P 0.05).【Conclusions】 The over expression of COX-2 and CCR7 in human breast cancer were correlated, and significantly associated with clinicopathologic parameters. The results indicate that COX-2 and CCR7 might be a co-marker of prediction the metastasis of breast cancer.
