Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of ΔNp63 in(TCCB),and explore correlation between the expression of ΔNp63,p53 and ki-67,and the prognosis of TCCB.Methods The expressions of ΔNp63,p53,and ki-67 of 56 patients with TCCB were detected with the immunohistochemical staining assay. The relations between the expressions of the three bio-markers,clinical stages, pathological types, and prognosis of TCCB were analyzed. Results The expressions rate of ΔNp63 was significantly higher in TCCB than in the normal epithelium of bladder, and the expression rate of ΔNp63,p53 and ki-67 were significantly higher in the high-grade and invasive TCCB than in low-grade and superficial TCCB.The differences had statistical significant(P0.05).ΔNp63 was positively correlated with p53 and ΔNp63,with rs′ being 0.298 and 0.316 respecitvely, which was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusions ΔNp63 was highly expressed in TCCB,which was closely associated with the progression of TCCB,but the role of ΔNp63 needs further exploration.Detecting the expression of ΔNp63 as well as p53 and ki-67 can better indicate the prognosis of TCCB.
