摘　　要：英汉恭维语在语用中存在恭维对象、恭维内容、恭维应答方式的不同。在跨文化交际中,仔细区分两者的语用差异并理解其深层文化差异将有助于英语学习者减少语用失误,更好地进行文化交流。There are some differences of complimentary objects,content and ways of responding in the intercultural communication between Chinese and English.During this course,it is helpful for us to reduce the pragmatic failure and to communicate each other smoothly if we carefully distinguish the pragmatic differences and to understand the deep cultural differences of Chinese and English compliments.
