摘 要:大学英语精读教学长期以来沿循封闭静态的"精讲"模式,仅停留在语言技术层面对学生进行词汇、语法等语言知识的机械灌输,而无法在"超语言"义场中对学生进行批判精神和人文素质的培养,从而造成高校英语教学的文化负载向运行。奥康纳的"散点认知"理论强调深化语言技能与人文知识的有机融合,培养学生的思辨能力和批判精神,以批判为中心,以知识为基础,以理解为手段;途径是思辨,形式是英语。这种三位一体的教学方法会显著提高学生的综合素质和创新能力,从而对大学英语精读教学具有积极的正载向调控作用。The teaching of college English intensive reading has long been followed the pattern of closed and static "intensive lecturing",which stresses the mechanical input of such technical items of language as words and grammar,whereas fails to cultivate students' critical spirit and humanistic quality in the "supra-linguistic" domain,thus resulting in the present culturally-impeditive English teaching in universities nationwide.Based on O'Connor's "Diffused Cognition" theory,the teaching of intensive reading should be oriented toward an organic combination of linguistic skills and humanistic knowledge to cultivate students' analytical ability and critical spirit.The teaching should pivot on critical thinking while taking knowledge as its basis and understanding its means.This triune approach to intensive reading will dramatically promote students' comprehensive quality and innovative ability,thus exerting an enhancive regulatory effect on college English intensive reading.
