摘　　要：介绍了第三代移动通信系统(3G)的概念,阐述了包括网络结构和主流技术体制在内的几个重要基本概念和特征。结合现行移动通信网比较分析了3G的安全机制,并从传统安全隐患和3G新技术带来新安全隐患这两个角度,研究探讨了使用3G终端所面临的一系列信息安全隐患。最后,给出了3G网络信息安全防护的主要技术设想。The concept of the third generation mobile communication system （3G） is presented and several key basic concepts and characteristics of the system, including its network structure and the mainstream technological schemes are described. The security mechanism of the 3G net-work is analyzed compared with that of the current mobile communications network. The information security risks by using 3G terminals are investigated in terms of traditional security risks and the new risks resulting from the 3G technologies. Finally, the major technological conceptions of the information security protection of the 3G network are provided.
