摘　　要：根据两种悬臂式掘进机-纵轴式和横轴式掘进机自有的结构特点,分别从截割机构、截割原理、截割方式、截割性能、装载与粉尘产生等几方面对纵轴式和横轴式掘进机进行了对比分析;两种掘进机各具优缺点,对掘进机的研发设计和煤矿选型等方面具有一定的参考价值。Based on the two roadheaders - longitudinal and transverse roadheader own structural features, the longitudinal and transverse roadheaders were comparative analysed from the cutting body.cutting principle.cutting methods.cutting performance.load and other aspects of dust generation respectively in this paper; and two roadheaders each takes on advantages and disadvantages, so it pro- vides a reference value for the future development of the roadheader and the coal mines＂ selection and so on.
