摘　　要：美国大学诞生至今不过300余年,然而美国高等教育却创造了多方面的奇迹,令全球瞩目。通过对美国高等教育的发展史研究,发现其领先根源在于具有美国特色的现代大学制度。美国现代大学制度并没有孕育于美国本土历史之中,它是不断吸收、融合多国现代大学制度的优秀成果并结合美国国情创新的结果。Since the birth of universities of the United State,it has just been 300 years.However,the United States has created a miracle in many aspects and it has surprised the whole global.Through the research of the history of American higher education,we have found that the leading source of the miracle is the modern university system with outstanding characteristics.However,American modern university system has not rooted in the history of the United States;it is the result of constantly absorbing the outstanding achievements of the modern university system and combining with the innovation of American conditions itself.
