摘　　要：编辑的素质是期刊质量的保障。加强期刊编辑的继续教育就是要加强编辑知识的更新,培养编辑意识,提高编辑技能。讨论加强编辑继续教育的必要性,目的就是要提高编辑素质,以推动期刊编辑出版事业更好、更快、更健康地发展,而继续教育的形式可以灵活多样,包括编辑的自主学习等。Editors ＂quality can ensure the quality of periodicals. Enhancing continuous education of journal editors is as follows： speeding up knowledge updating of editors, cultivating editorial consciousness, improving editorial skills. The necessily Of enhancing continuous education of journal editors is discussed and its aim is lo improve editors ＂quality so as to promote the development of editing and publishing career. The styles of continuous education are flexible and various including editors＂ autonomous learning and so on.
