摘　　要：疍民自古以来浮生江海,居于舟船,生产生活方式独特,文化特征鲜明。本文从民族学的视角,运用经济文化类型的理论和方法,对岭南疍民的生态环境、生计方式和水文化特质进行研究。The Tanka who have been living in the ocean and makes the boat as their house from the ancient period, have the unique lifestyle and distinctive culture features. What make the Lingnan Tanka＇s generation ＂living for the water, loving the water, and never leaving for it＂？ Probing the answers in Ethnol- ogy visual angle and using the theories and methods of economical and cultural types are to analysis and re- search for the ecological environment, means of livelihoods and the water cultural characteristics on the Lingnan Tanka.
