摘　　要：应酬语是人们生活交流中不可缺少的一种语言,起着重要的作用。它主要用来营造一种气氛或保持社会联系而非交流信息。人们使用应酬语就是为了缓和说话双方的关系,使双方在心理上得到满足。本文首先介绍应酬语的分类,然后从关联理论的角度来分析不同语境中应酬语产生的语用效果。As an indispensable language,phatics plays an important role in our d aily life.It mainly creates an atmosphere and keeps contact with society rathe r than exchanging information.The aim that people use phatics is to ease t he relationship between speakers and hearers and meet their needs in mentality.This essay will introduce the classification of phatics,and then,analyse the pragmatic effect of phatics in different situations by relevance-theory.
