摘　　要：概念设计是设计具有竞争力产品的关键，而功能设计则是概念设计的基础，同时也是集成设计对象建模与设计过程建模的关键。本文给出功能及与其相关的一些重要概念，在此基础上提出了功能构件的概念及计算机实现方法，从而使CAD系统从底层支持概念设计过程；其次，本文提出了－1活动度杆组的概念，以支持概念设计推理过程；最后提出基于功能构件的机械产品概念设计过程的建模方法及应用实例。Conceptual design, with function design as its basis, is a crucial stage of developing competitive artifacts. Also, function is a key concept to integrate object modeling and process modeling in design. In this paper,first some important concepts concerning with function as well as its relative concepts are given,on the basis of which we proposed a definition Function Component as well as its computerizing method. Then,a new concept, - 1 DOF Group,is introduced so as to support the reasoning procedure. At last, we proposed a modeling method of conceptual design process of mechanical artifacts on the basis of function component; An example is given to exhibit its effectiveness.
