摘　　要：在当代华裔美国文学中,华裔父亲形象的显性多样性充分体现了不同时期华裔作家们相异的文化选择与生存策略。通过解读具有代表性的4部华裔美国小说中的父亲形象及其背后所隐含的历史话语,多样化的形象呈现出隐性的内在传承性,描述了华裔父亲从"他者"、失语、错位到理想构建的历时嬗变过程。In contemporary Chinese American literature,the apparent diversity of the images of father sheds light upon the different cultural choices and survival strategies the Chinese American writers have adopted.However,a systematic research on the images of father represented in four novels has uncovered the historical discourses hidden behind.We find that implicit inheritance can be traced among the diverse images of father.The image of the Chinese American father has evolved from 'the other',deprivation of speech,dislocation to ideal construction.
