摘　　要：梅贻琦为清华大学的发展做出了巨大的贡献,为国家培养了许多杰出的优秀人才,在我国高等教育史上居于重要的历史地位。他在掌理清华大学校政过程中形成的大学思想观念、方法和办学实践,如民主治校的思想、勤俭办学之风等,至今仍值得我们学习和借鉴。Mei yiqi makes great contributions to the development of Tsinghua University,and cultivates many excellent talents for the country.He plays an important role in China＇s higher education,During his tenure,Mei yiqi＇s thought,methods and practice of managing university such as his democratic managment thought and diligent and frugal style of managing university are still worth us learning and using for reference.
