摘 要:提出了一种新的光电探测器(PD)非线性模型,进而分析了PD非线性对系统增益及三阶无杂散动态范围(SFDR3)的影响。实验表明,当调制器的直流偏置角变化时,含PD非线性的实际链路与忽略PD非线性的理想链路相比,信号增益的最大值将下降1.7dB,SFDR3最大值下降3dB,因此在高性能链路中考虑探测器非线性是十分必要的。A new nonlinear model for commercial PIN photodiodes is presented in this paper. The gain and the third-order spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR3) of a basic microwave photonic link influenced by the nonlinearity of the photodiode (PD) are also studied, of applicability and simple conceptual basis, we anticipate that the model will be of value in understanding and evaluating the nonlinearity of microwave photonic links. Numerical studies indicate that the nonlinearity of PD degrades the microwave photonic links' performance. Compared with ideal PD links, the maximun signal gain and SFDR3 in practical links with PD nonlinearity deteriorate by 1.7 dB and 3 dB, respectively at various biased points for modulator. The results suggest that the nonlinearity of PD should be considered for high performance links.
