论学术职业的独特性

摘　　要：相对于高等教育研究领域和社会学研究许多领域而言,学术职业在中国还是很新的,尽管对与其相关的大学教师的研究有许多。笔者经过六年与多国学者的合作研究发现,作为一个职业,学术职业具有诸多特点。本文仅就其中文概念的复杂性、其具有的基础性和关键性、对学科而非所在组织的高度归属感几方面来进行探讨。Academic profession,in China,is a new term in contrast with studies in higher education and sociology,although there are many publications on university faculty is relating to Academic Profession.We found that the Academic Profession has many unique characteristics after six years cooperative research with faculty members cross twenty countries.This article discusses the complexity of its definition in Chinese context,and emphasizes that it is a foundational and key profession.This profession has a higher level of attachment to its discipline rather than to the university organization.
