基于需求分析的高职英语分类教学模式探究

摘　　要：针对目前高职英语教学的改革进行反思,从需求分析的角度,通过问卷调查和访谈的方式对1 139名高职在校生的英语学习需求进行调查。在此基础上,提出改革建议:构建高职英语"分类"教学模式,即根据专业大类划分,将高职英语教学分为GE+ESP(专业.语言融合)教学和EOP(行业英语)教学两个阶段。文章最后指出,该分类教学模式的实施将有效克服当前高职英语课程的局限性,是实现高职英语教学目标可行有效地途径。This paper gives a critical review of the on-going reform of English teaching in higher vocational and technical college（HVTC）.On the basis of needs analysis,and through questionnaire surveys and interviews,it makes an attempt to explore the English language learning needs of 1 139 HVTC undergraduates.Then it proposes a new classification-based English teaching model for improving English teaching and learning,which classifies the HVTC English teaching into two phases according to the specialties,i.e.GE＋ESP（general English and English for specific purpose） and EOP（English for occupational purpose）.The paper concludes that the new model can effectively overcome the limitations of the existing models and is a feasible and effective approach to achieving the objective of HVTC English teaching.
