摘　　要：女性神话实际上是男权社会对女性的性压抑。神话的中心是绅士们有义务在女性周围架筑高墙,保护她们的贞操,以满足他们的私欲。但是随着南方种植园社会的没落,绅士的骑士风度荡然无存,女性神话也随之打破,绅士和淑女都坠入精神的荒原。这就是福克纳小说所表达的道德范式。The female myth embodies a sexual repression upon women in the patriarchal society. What is central to the myth is that gentlemen feel obliged to set up a high wall around women to protect their virginity and satisfy their own desires. But along with the decline of the Southern Plantation, the chivalry of the gentlemen was completely discredited, and the female myth was also broken into pieces. The ladies and gentlemen were plunged into a spiritual wasteland. This is the moral pattern largely expressed in Faulkner＇s novels.
