Objective To discusses the expression of Notch-1 and ki-67 in human colorectal cancer(CRC) and the relationship with clinical pathology. Methods Immunohistochemistry SP method was used to utilize the expressions of Notch l and ki-67 protein in CRC,and the relationship with the clinic pathology were analyzed. Results The positive expression rates of Notch l and ki-67 protein in CRC were higher than those in normal colon tissues(P0.05).The positive expression of Notch-l has obviously non-correlation with gender, age, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis of patients(P0.05).It was closely associated with magnitude and differentiation of tumor(P0.01 or P0.05).The expression of Ki-67 has no relatimship with histology category. It was closely associated with differentiation of tumor and lymph node metastasis. The higher expression of Ki-67 associated with poorly differentiated and metaptosis(r=0.355、0.385 and P 0.05).There was positive correlation between the expressions of Notch1 and ki-67 protein in CRC(r=0.305,P0.05).Conclusion Notch l protein may play an important role in the pathway of carcinogenesis and progression of CRC.Ki-67 have an important significance to early discovery and diagnose of CRC.
