刘之常:平凡而伟大的电化教育先驱

摘　　要：刘之常终生从事基层民众教育工作,重视和善于运用媒体来辅助民众教育。他提出了电影是推进教育的好工具、是视觉教育的延续和发展的观点,践行了基于媒体的系统设计的理念,总结出了极具推广价值的电影教学方法,萌发出了电影与课程整合的思想,提炼出了"电化教学"术语,勾画出了电化教育教材的内容体系,对我国电化教育的发展做出了巨大贡献,是当之无愧的电化教育先驱。LIU Zhi-chang was engaged in mass education work,attention and ingeniously used media to promote mass education in his lifetime.He had come up with the view that film is a good media to promote education,which is the extension and development of visual education,fulfilled the idea of systematic design based on media,and summarized the popularizing film teaching method.Meanwhile,he produced the thought of film and curriculum integration,created the term of ＂Audio-Visual Education＂ and outlined the content system of teaching material on audio-visual education.LIU Zhi-chang made great contribution to the development of the audio-visual education in our nation.Without doubts,he is a deserved pioneer of the audio-visual education.
