摘　　要：体态语是人类交际中最常见的一种非语言行为,它包括眼神、手势、身姿、面部表情和体触行为等。由于文化差异,同一动作的体态语会被不同文化背景的人理解为不同的信号和不同的信息,稍不注意就会犯忌。因此,在中西方跨文化交际中,人们应了解彼此的体态语禁忌,这样才能避免因不当的体态语行为而引起文化冲突。Body language is a kind of nonverbal behavior often found in the communication of human-kind. It includes eye contact, hand gesture, posture, facial expression and touch, etc. The same body language can be interpreted as different signal and information due to cultural differences. Neglecting it, one may offend others. Therefore,in the intercultural communication between China and the West, taboo in their body language should he understood for the avoidance of cultural conflicts.
