摘　　要：课程设置是大学英语教学中的重要环节，是大学英语教学改革成功的重要保证。本研究以新乡医学院大学英语教学改革为例，基于建构主义和后现代主义课程观，分析了大学英语课程体系设置的理论依据，探讨了多元化课程设置的实践与效果。研究结果表明，构建必修课程加选修课程、通识教育课程与专业拓展课程和素质拓展课程相结合的多元化大学英语课程体系，不仅丰富了大学英语课程的教学内容，更为重要的是，为医学生提供了一个英语语言综合实践的平台，为学生综合素质的提高和继续深造奠定了坚实的语言基础。Curriculum design is one important aspect of college English teaching in China, and is critical for the smooth and successful implementation of college English teaching reform. This pager, taking college English teaching reform practice in Xinxiang Medical University as an example, analyzed the theo- retical bases for college English curriculum designs and discussed its practice and effects in our medical u- niversity on the grounds of theories of constructivism and post-modernism. The research indicates that the multi-dimensional curriculum design enriches the college English curriculum system, more important, it provides a platform for medical students to use English and lay a solid foundation for their further study as well.
