摘　　要：新与旧的问题实质是价值观的变化问题,激进的现代性也是激进的崇新主义。新世纪社会转型带来了诸多新景观,作为应"世"的小说,就不能摆脱以"标新"的姿态来面对这些新的价值特征及其新的文化格局,但在具体操作上,小说又往往以"后退"的姿态在内容与形式上蕴含着立旧情怀,不仅局限于基本的创作方法与审美立场上,更有小说大环境下的类型化创作倾向。文章就新世纪小说中的现实主义、民间立场、文学类型等方面进行了整体性归纳分析,从而展现新世纪小说标新与立旧的双向旨归。＂ New and old＂ problem is in essence the value change problem, so the radical modernity is the radical new - adoring doctrine. The society transformation of new century has brought about many new sights, and as the novel of accommodating to society, it can＇ t get rid of the ＂new＂ posture to meet those new value characteristics and new culture pattern. But in the specific operation, the novels usually contain old feelings in the contents and form with the ＂backward＂ posture. This is not limited to these methods of creation and position of appreciation ,but of the creation genre tendency in the environment. So, this paper makes a necessary inductive analysis of the realism, standpoint of the populace and the literature genre of new century novels in order to show the two aims of new and old in the novels of new century.
