摘　　要：用概率论的方法来考察一个社会问题:若一个家庭生男生女的概率相等,在生下一个男孩后就停止生育,否则继续生育直至生下一个男孩为止,那么,是否会造成男女比例的失衡.研究的结果表明不会,但每个家庭将平均有两个孩子,并把结果推广到了直到生育第n个男孩为止的情形.In this paper, the method of probability theory is used to examine a social problem： If a family has an equal probability of a boy or girl, the birth is stopped when a boy is given to birth or continue until a boy is born, then, whether the proportion of male to female is imbalanced or not. The result is not, but on average, each family has two children. And the result is used to the birth of the boy n.
