摘　　要：陶艺公选课是普通高校针对非艺术类专业学生所开设的一门课程,目前的状况是尚未得到普及。在高校广泛地开设陶艺公选课是必要的和可行的,这对于有效地进行素质教育、优化学生的知识结构和拓宽知识面、对学生创新思维的培养等方面具有相当重要的意义。同时,在进行陶艺公选课教学时要注意合理地选择教学内容,采取灵活多样的教学方法。Ceramics as an optional course is mainly targeted at the non-arts major students in higher-learning institutions.But at present,the number of colleges and universities in which this course is taught is still very limited.In fact,it is both necessary an feasible to teach ceramics extensively as an optional course in higher-learning institutions in China,which is of great significance for carrying out quality education effectively,optimizing students’ knowledge structure and extending their horizons,and fostering their creative thinking.Meanwhile,it’ll be more fruitful if the teaching materials are selected rationally,and flexible and variable teaching methods are used properly.
