摘　　要：《工程材料》是机械类专业的一门专业基础课,内容涉及到大量的概念和术语,学生学习时感到比较费力。笔者在教学实践中运用"绪论入手、实例着手、启发举手、教师动手、学生练手"的"五手"方略,充分调动学生的学习兴趣、学习积极性和主动性,真正提高教学质量。Engineering Material was a basic subject of mechanical engineering,consisting of lots of conceptions and terms,so many students learned it hard.＂Five Steps＂ method of start with introduction,commence learning example,enlighten students to raise one＇s hand and answer questions,teacher demonstration and students practice was applied to improve study interest,positivity and quality of teaching during teaching.
