摘　　要：本文介绍了美国马萨诸塞州的教育数据仓库建立的背景、各种功能、存在的问题、重新规划的原因以及未来的发展方向。这些经验表明，教育数据仓库可以很好地为教学评估和提高教学水平服务，但必须经过缜密的规划，需要技术人员与教育专业人员密切合怍，为数据仓库搭建合理的构架，才有可能满足不断增长的数据量和日益复杂的数据分析的需要。This paper introduces the Massachusetts Education Data Warehouse, including its background for setup, various functions, existing problems, reasons for redesign, and future directions. These experiences indicate that while education data warehouse can provide excellent service to assessment and improvement of teaching, the careful design of its architecture through close collaboration of IT staff and education professionals is required in order to meet the demands of growing data volume and increasingly complicated data analysis needs.
