徐特立与湖南近代私立教育

摘　　要：为实现教育救国的理想,徐特立早年在湖南积极从事教育工作,除参与公立教育外,还先后创办梨江高小、五美高小、平民夜校、长沙女子师范等私立学校,并曾协助举办和管理周南女校、修业学校,有着比较丰富的私立学校办学思想和经验,为湖南近代私立教育的发展作出了较大的贡献。In order to realize the ideal that the education saves the nation, Xu Te-li engaged in the educational cause positively in his early years in Hunan. Besides participating in public education, he set up successively private schools such as Lijiang Senior Primary School, Wumei Senior Primary School, the Night School for Civilians, Changsha Female Normal School and so on. Meanwhile he helped conduct and manage Zhounan Girls＇ School and Xiuye School. Therefore, he had rich thought and experience in managing schools, and contributed a lot to the development of private education in Hunan in modem times.
