摘  要:修辞人格是一个与言说者人格紧密相关的重要的西方修辞学概念,从亚里士多德以来的修辞学者就不断地对这一概念进行阐释,再阐释和发展。要彻底了解这一概念,要从提出者亚里士多德研究起。对文本的解读、古希腊的前结构、亚里士多德个人经历的研究以及其作品,特别是《尼各马科伦理学》的参照作用,对促成亚里士多德的修辞人格及其各组成部分的新理解不无裨益。Ethos,as a key concept closely related to the character of speakers in rhetoric, has received interpretation, reinterpretation, and development from classical rhetorians, since the time of Aristotle. To have a thorough understanding of this term, we have to begin with Aristotle who proposed this concept. Reading into the original text,research into Athenian fore-structure and Aristotle' s personal experience and reference to his works, especially The Nicomachean Ethics,have contributed to a new comprehension of ethos and its components. A clear view of this concept can also enhance our understanding of Aristotle' s rhetorical thoughts.
