摘　　要：民族主体文化是一个民族历史的凝结和体现,是一个民族内在特质的深层表现。中国当代艺术作为一种文化载体,应该体现出民族文化主体性特征。对中国优秀的传统文化和民族审美精神的继承,构建以民族文化为主体的"和谐"社会主义新文化背景,是实现中国当代艺术建立自我评价标准的关键。The principal culture of a nation is the concentrated reflection of a nation＇s history, and the manifestation of a nalion＇ s profound inner nature. Chinese contemporary art, as a conveyor of a culture, should express the principal nature of Chinese culture. Therefore, with the requirement to establish a harmonious socialist new culture, it is crucial to establish a self-appreciation system for Chinese contemporary Art by inheriting the spirit of China＇ s excellent traditional culture and esthetics.
