摘 要:20世纪20年代中国人被推上了基督教大学的领导岗位。在前途既不易推测,也无所依凭的情况下,各基督教大学华人校长结合自身成长经历、所在学校等,形成了各具特色的办学思想及实践。但又因他们所处环境的特殊性、时代背景的影响,他们又有着一个共同的奋斗目标,那就是创办中国的基督教大学。正因为如此,他们推动了基督教大学的中国化发展,为西方教育模式的本土化发展、为中国近代高等教育的发展作出了重要贡献。Chinese were appointed presidents of the Christian Universities after the mid 1920s. According to their own upbringing and the Christian Universities they work in, Chinese presidents formed distinctive thoughts and practices of running schools though they knew less of the future and without any references. Since they were in Christian Universities, they had the common goal that was to establish Chinese Christian universities. Because of the common goal, they promoted the domestic development of Christian Universities, and made important contributions to the domestic development of the Western education model and the development of Chinese modern higher education.
