摘　　要：新建本科院校已占我国本科院校的1/3,成为高等教育大众化的重要承载主体,规模扩张之后,其质量提升是核心,是学校服务地方社会、谋求转型发展的基础。本文在对新建本科院校教育质量提升要素进行SWOT分析的基础上,提出学校要通过及时转换理念、市场融合、管理创新、文化积淀、师资调整、内容更新等,使新建本科院校切实提高办学质量,为高等教育强国做出贡献。Newly- built colleges account for one third of the undergraduate colleges in China, which became an important body in mass higher education, after the colleges expanded. Newly - built colleges should regard quality improvement as a core. Their quality is their basis to serve local community and to seek for restructuring and development of the colleges. Basing on the SWOT analysis of quality elements in newly - built colleges, the paper proposed the conversion of school concept in a timely way, including market integration, management innovation, cultural heritage, teacher adjustment, and content updates, and so on so that colleges improve the quality of education effectively and are able to make a contribution to the Great Nation of Higher Education.
