摘　　要：Schiff base-Cu（II） complex is found to be an effective catalyst for the condensation reaction of indole with aldehydes using ethanol as the solvent. The characterization of the catalysts was carried out using XRD and FT-IR.Schiff base-Cu（II） complex is found to be an effective catalyst for the condensation reaction of indole with aldehydes using ethanol as the solvent.
