摘　　要：绘本是儿童早期教育的高品质载体,它的作用已经受到广泛关注。很多有趣的英文绘本故事都被翻译成中文,并用中文解读,尝试用英文解读英文绘本是一个突破。广州图书馆"爱绘本爱阅读"亲子读书会举办的英文绘本读书会受到极大关注,笔者总结了一些关于英文绘本故事解读的经验。Picture books are high quality materials for children＇s early education,and have caused wide public concerns.A great many English picture books have been translated into Chinese,and narrated in Chinese.It is a great breakthrough for the library to manage to host the English picture books reading programme for children.The English picture book telling activities held in Guangzhou Library have been warmly welcomed by parents and children.After presiding two of those activities,the author summed up some experience in the practice of English picture book telling.
