摘　　要：本文试对小说《玉秧》女主人公玉秧人生悲剧进行理性的评判和思考,并从家庭和社会环境、性格弱点和人格缺陷、女性主体性的丧失三个方面深入探讨造成其悲剧的根本原因,进而得出结论:在任何情况下,女性都不能丧失生存的本质即自主,应全面地发展自身的生命能力,否则,就失去了生命存在的意义。This paper attempts to judge and think about YuYang＇s choice of life.In the meanwhile,it also tries to explore prime reasons which have resulted in her tragedy from three aspects such as her family and social environment in which she lives,her personal drawbacks and lose of female subjectivity.In conclusion,in any case,feminie can＇t lose the essence of their survival.That is,women should become farmore self-sufficient and self-contained.Otherwise,they will be bankrupt in the meaning of life.
